On Thursday, Google announced that there are now more than 100 million active Android Go devices across the globe. There are around 1600 models available in more than 180 countries.

After confirming stats about Android Go devices, the company also announced a new app called Camera Go app. Now it will come pre-installed as the default camera app on upcoming Android Go devices.

Nokia 1.3 will be the first phone to come with the Camera Go app. Google will release the update for all Android Go devices.

Google says that the Camera Go app is optimized for entry-level handsets without compromising the features. The app will capture high-quality photos. There are features like Portrait Mode and more. Portrait Mode applies depth-of-field effects using only software. The app also tracks remaining storage space and helps users in freeing up space by cleaning out junk data.

Camera Go is joining Google’s other Go apps that are YouTube Go, Gmail Go, Files Go, Maps Go, and Google Go.
