LG has just announced the 6th smartphone of its V-series of smartphones. The phone is called the LG V60 ThinQ 5G.

LG V60 ThinQ 5G comes with a 6.8-inch FHD+ OLED display with tall 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The display is HDR10+ rated and is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset and supports 5G. The phone is optimized for Sub-6 5G networks. It has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage with an option to expand storage.

LG V60 ThinQ 5G

The phone runs on Android 10 with LG UX 9.0 on top. It also features a dedicated Google Assistant key on the left side.

It has 64 megapixels primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and 1/1.7-inch sensor. There is also a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera. The phone is cable of shooting 8K video recording with support for HDR10+. It can also record 4K time-lapse. LG V60 ThinQ 5G comes with a 10 megapixels selfie camera.

LG has added a 32-Bit Quad DAC and stereo speakers for good audio performance. Connectivity options are 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC and USB 3.1. The fingerprint sensor is under the display.

The phone is IP68 rated to be dust and water-resistant. It is also MIL-STD 810G certified for military-grade durability. The phone will be available in blue and white colors. It weighs 218 g.

The phone packs 5,000 mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 4+. It also supports wireless charging.

LG has also updated the dual-screen accessory. Now it has a 6.8-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a 360 Freestop Hinge. So, you can also use the phone on laptop, stand and tent modes. It also has a new 2.1-inch notification panel. This accessory can be connected to the phone via USB-C port and it lacks its own power supply.
