Even if rival brands mock Apple Watch for its battery, consumers around the globe continue loving it. Apple Watch is one of the best Apple products since its launch. Now a report by Strategy Analytics, a research and consulting company, claims that Apple sold more watches than all Swiss Watch brands combined last year.
As per the report, Apple shipped 30.7 million Apple Watches in 2019. This is a jump of 36 percent as compared to the previous year. All Swiss watch makers shipped 21.1 million watches in 2019 that is much lesser from Apple. This number is also 13 percent lesser than their sales in the previous year.

It is worth to note that Apple doesn’t release the Apple Watch units sales figure in the earnings call. Strategy Analytics has acquired data from vendors and sales partners. So, it may not be exact but should be close to the actual figure.

It is interesting to note that Apple also surpassed the Swiss watch industry in quarterly sales back in 2017 but 2019 was much better for Apple. It ruled the watch industry for the whole year and surpassed its analog competitors.
