Xiaomi today announced the launch of a new Air Purifier called Mi Air Purifier 3. This is the successor of existing Mi Air Purifier 2S and replaces it in the market.

Mi Air Purifier 3 features an OLED touch display to show you PM2.5 levels and humidity. It also lets you switch between sleep, auto, favorite, low, medium and high-level modes. The display automatically adjusts its brightness according to ambient light.

Air Purifier 3 has a high precision laser sensor that detects particles as small as 0.3μm and instantly reports the particulate matter levels. The 360-degree cylindrical triple-layer filter traps pollutants and triple-layer filter removes micron-sized particles, catches harmful bacteria and even effectively removes formaldehyde and other harmful substances from indoor air. It also eliminates odors.

It has Air quality indicators that turn to green, orange and red when PM2.5 levels are less than 75mg/μ3, 75-150mg/μ3 and >150mg/μ3, respectively. It also comes with support for Alexa and Google Assistant.

You can connect this Air Purifier with the Mi Home app to check indoor and outdoor air quality. The app also lets you adjust the fan strength.

Xiaomi claims that the Air Purifier is power efficient under night mode and is also silent at only 32 decibels. So, you will have uninterrupted sleep.

Mi Air Purifier 3 has 380 cubic meters per hour CADR rate and is capable of delivering 6333 litres of purified air every minute. Xiaomi claims that it works effectively in the room of size 279-484 square feet.

Xiaomi Air Purifier 3 is priced at Rs. 9,999 and is available from Mi.com. It will also be available from Amazon and Flipkart starting 7th November 2019.
