Today, Huawei announced its latest high-end tablet Huawei MatePad Pro in China. The tablet comes with an in-screen camera, M-Pencil and wireless charging.
Huawei MatePad Pro features a 10.8-inch WQXGA curved glass display. It packs octa-core Kirin 990 processor with ARM Mali-G76MP16 GPU, and Big Core + Tiny Core NPU. The tablet comes in two models including 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 256GB. Storage is also expandable up to 256 GB with an NM card.
It features a 13 megapixels autofocus rear camera with PDAF and f/1.8 aperture. There is also an 8 megapixels front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
It runs on EMUI 10.0.1 based on Android 10.0. There’s also Harman Kardon-certified Quad speakers with support to Huawei Histen sound effect.
Huawei MatePad Pro features Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1 LE, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity options. There’s also an optional LTE variant. Huawei has confirmed that a 5G version of MatePad Pro will arrive in Q1 2020.
The tablet packs 7250mAh battery with support to 40W Huawei super fast charge, 15W wireless charging, and 7.5w reverse charging.
It comes in Orange, White, Green and Gray colors. Dimensions include 246 x 159x 7.2mm and it weighs 460g.
