OnePlus has announced that it will also be in the race of payment services. At the launch event of OnePlus 7T, the company announced its mobile payment service called OnePlus Pay.

The OnePlus Pay will arrive next year – 2020. The company claims that you won’t need a wallet if you use OnePlus Pay.

OnePlus claims that it has been working on this service for some time but didn’t reveal any of the efforts it made. We don’t know what banks or services it has partnered. We also don’t know how it will work.

It is worth to note that Google has Google Pay, Apple offers Apple Pay and Samsung has Samsung pay. Xiaomi is also in the same race with Mi Pay payment service. Fitness band brands Fitbit and Garmin also offer payment from fitness devices. So, it won’t be an easy market for OnePlus.

We still do not know much about this, so that’s it from our side on OnePlus Pay. When we have more information, we will keep you posted. We can expect the official launch of OnePlus Pay alongside OnePlus 8 next year in April or May 2020.
