Sony Launches World’s Smallest And Lightest Compact Camera “Sony RX0 II” in India

Sony has launched its new compact camera Sony RX0 II in the Indian market. The camera is said to be the world’s smallest and lightest compact camera. It is priced at Rs. 57,990.

Sony RX0 II is a compact camera and weighs 132 grams. Dimensions measure 59 x 40.5 x 35mm. It is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance. It is also shockproof and can survive drops from up to 2 meters. Sony claims that the camera is crush-proof up to 200kg force.

It also has a 180-degree tiltable screen. It features a stacked 15.3MP Exmor RS CMOS image sensor and Sony’s BIONZ X image processing engine. It has Zeiss Tessar T 24mm lens with an f/4.0 aperture. The camera offers the ISO range between 80-12,800, that’s impressive considering the size of the camera.

This camera can shoot 4K videos at 30 fps. It offers full pixel readout without any pixel binning, The camera also has EIS for stable videos. It also supports slow-mo videos at up to 100FPS. It includes an Anti-distortion Shutter of up to 1/32,000 sec. It also supports uncompressed 4K HDMI output.

You can also pair this camera with Sony’s Imaging Edge Mobile application to control it. The camera offers a decent battery backup and a fully charged camera can capture 240 photos and 60 minutes of continues video shooting.

It will be available to buy in all Sony Center, Alpha Flagship stores, and major electronics stores across the country starting from July 15.
