DJI Osmo Action with dual display, rugged body and 4K HDR video recording Launched

DJI has launched a new tiny action camera DJI Osmo Action. It offers a compact and rugged body. It is priced at $349.

It also has 2.25-inch touchscreen display on the back and a 1.4-inch display at the front. Both displays have a 300ppi pixel density. The front display is brighter and offers 800 nits of peak brightness that will be helpful in shooting under bright sunlight.

The camera is dustproof and shockproof. It can survive the 5ft of drop and can survive 11m under the waves without additional housing.

The action camera features a 1/2.3-inch sensor that is capable of capturing 12-megapixel photos. This action camera can record 4K videos at up to 60 and 4K HDR videos at up to 30 fps. This camera can also record at 240fps in Full HD and HD resolution. The camera can also capture TimeLapse. The camera offers EIS that also works at 4K resolution.

There is a Quick Switch physical button to toggle between picture, video, time-lapse and slow-motion modes. You can use the same switch to select what screen to use. There are also two microphones to record audio and assist in voice control.

The camera can also be paired to the DJI Mimo app to control and photo transfer.

It comes with Camera Frame Kit mount, a waterproof case, a 3.5mm microphone adapter, extension rod, floating handle, and a charging hub.
