Xiaomi’s gaming brand Black Shark has just launched its latest gaming phone Black Shark 2 in the Indian market. It starts at Rs. 39999 and will be available from Flipkart starting June 4. The phone was initially launched in China earlier this year in March.
Black Shark 2 is a gaming phone, so it packs high-end specs to offer you the best possible mobile gaming experience. The phone features 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with HDR support. The display also supports 240Hz touch response rate.
It packs octa-core Snapdragon 855 processor with Adreno 640 GPU. The liquid cooling 3.0 uses the liquid-cooled plate + liquid-cooled tube to cover all heat-generating components. The company claims that this setup can reduce the CPU temperature by up to 14-degree C. You can also purchase dedicated Cooling Case add on. It comes in two models including a model with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage and second with 12GB LPDDR4x RAM with 256GB storage.
The phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie). The phone also has two pressure-sensitive points on one side. You can map these points to in-game actions for getting additional controls to use while gaming. The company calls it “Magic Press”.
Black Shark 2 features front-facing stereo speakers located at the top and bottom side of the display. The phone also comes with an optical in-screen fingerprint scanner. It has the Black Shark logo on the back panel that glows when the phone is active.
The phone has dual camera setup that includes 48 megapixels primary camera with Samsung GM1 sensor, f/1.75 aperture along with 12 megapixels secondary telephoto camera with f/2.2 aperture and 2x lossless zoom. It also has 20 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
It features Dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5 and USB Type-C. It also has a 4000 mAh battery with support to 27W fast charging. The company claims that it can be charged for 30 minutes of gaming with just 5 minutes of charging.
