Last month, Samsung announced Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019). Now the company has silently introduced the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) Edition.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) comes with 8-inch TFT display offering 1920 ×1200 pixels resolution. It also supports S-Pen. The tablet runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung UI.

It is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7904 14nm processor with Mali-G71 GPU. The tablet comes with 3GB RAM and 32 GB of storage. Storage is also expandable up to 512GB.

The tablet features an 8 megapixels rear camera and 5 megapixels front camera. There is no LED flash for the camera. But tablets are not supposed to be photography.

The tablet offers WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, GLONASS, USB 2.0 Type-C connectivity options. There is also an optional LTE variant if you want cellular connectivity.

It packs 4200 mAh battery. Samsung claims up to 11 hours of talk time on LTE and up to 11 hours of internet usage on WiFi network.

It measures 201.5 x 122.4 x 8.9mm and weighs 325 grams.

There is no word on pricing. It will go on sale soon across Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam as well in the UK.
