Sony has also announced the latest mid-range smartphones Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus at its MWC event in Barcelona. Both the phones feature 21:9 Wide Full HD+ CinemaWide display. As the name suggests, Xperia X10 Plus is larger and slightly better.

Sony Xperia 10 features a 6-inch Full HD+ 21:9 aspect ratio CinemaWide display and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie). The phone is powered by 2.2 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 630 14nm Soc with Adreno 508 GPU. It has 3GB RAM with 64GB of storage with an option to expand storage up to 512GB.

It has a dual camera on the back that includes 13 megapixels primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and 5 megapixels secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture. It also has 8 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The phone fingerprint sensor on the back. It has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C connectivity. The phone packs 2870mAh battery with Adaptive Charging and support to fast charging.

Sony Xperia 10 Plus comes with 6.5-inch Full HD+ 21:9 aspect ratio CinemaWide display. It packs 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 processor with Adreno 509 GPU. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage with an option to expand storage up to 512GB.

It has a dual camera that has 12 megapixels primary camera with f/1.75 aperture and 8 megapixels secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture.

It has fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C. It packs 3000 mAh battery with fast charging and adaptive charging.

The company has not confirmed the pricing or roll out details yet. Everything looks fine except the batteries. At the time when most of the phones try to offer large batteries, these phones have weaker batteries and its CinemaWide display is expected to consume more battery than normal displays. It means these phones may offer weaker battery backup.
