Samsung just announced a new tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e. It comes in Black, Silver and Gold colors. Price starts at $399.99 for WiFi version and will be available starting Q2, 2019.
This is the thinnest and lightest galaxy Tab. It is 5.5mm thin and weighs 400 grams. It is thinner and lighter than 11-inch iPad Pro.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e features a 10.5-inch (2560×1600 pixel) WQXGA 16:10 aspect ratio Super AMOLED display. It is powered by Octa-core Snapdragon 670 processor. It comes in 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage options. You can also expand storage up to 512GB with microSD card.
The tablet is shipped with Android Pie along with the Bixby 2.0 virtual assistant. It also features Dex for using Android in desktop-style environment. It allows users interact with their device using the screen, a mouse, keyboard, or all three.
It features a 13 megapixels rear camera and 5 megapixels front camera. It is capable of shooting 4K video at 30 frames per second.
For good multimedia experience, it has 4 speakers tuned by AKG and Dolby Atmos. It lacks S-Pen support.
Connectivity features include WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz) MIMO, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS, USB 3.1 Type-C, and POGO pin. It also has a 4G model.
The tablet packs 7040 mAh battery with fast charging. The company is also promising up to 14.5 hours of battery life.
