OnePlus to introduce Google Duo as a native function in Oxygen OS

Today, OnePlus confirmed that it will soon introduce Google Duo as a native function for video calls on its devices

Soon, OnePlus will roll out this feature as part of software update. A OxygenOS OTA update is already available for limited number of OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. The limited number of OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T.

The company has also confirmed that the feature will be available for OnePlus 6T, OnePlus 6, OnePlus 5T, OnePlus 5, OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3 smartphones in coming months.

The native Duo video calling capability will be integrated across multiple native functions such as call logs, Contacts, Dial Pad and Messaging. So, consumers will have one click access to video calls.

OnePlus also offers Google Lens integration on OnePlus’ native camera app. So, one can use Google Lens to find information about products, scan QR codes and more.
