Essential’s debut phone Essential Phone was impressive but failed to grab consumers. Now the company is working on the successor that has already been conceptualized.

According to a series of images we found of the Essential PH-2, the phone looks futuristic. Images indicate that the phone will have a selfie camera and a light sensor would be embedded in the display. Same will be for the fingerprint sensor. The display will utilize the advanced features of the OLED panel in the end.

If Essential Manages to put the front camera into the display, it will be the first phone to be a truly all-screen device without any punch hole, notch or a sliding camera mechanism.

Another drawing confirms the use of the fingerprint sensor under a display. This is something we have already seen in several phones. Now the mid-range phones are also coming with an under-display fingerprint sensor.

Few reports also suggest that the PH-2 will come with huge AI powers to make the user experience better.

Essential Phone 2 will not be official before the second half of the year. But we hope to get leaked image in coming months confirming the design and specifications of the phone.
