Today, Xiaomi announced another price cut and this time it was on Xiaomi Redmi 6. The phone now starts at Rs. 7999 while it was launched at Rs. 8999.

Redmi 6 3GB/32GB now costs Rs. 7999, and the 3GB/64GB is now priced at Rs. 8999. Both the models are now available at new prices starting today. You can buy the phone from mi.com, Flipkart, Mi Home, and offline stores.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 features a 5.45-inch Display. It runs on MIUI based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor with 3 GB RAM. It has 32GB and 64GB storage options. Storage is also expandable up to 256GB

The phone has a dual camera with 12 megapixels primary and 5 megapixels secondary sensor. It also has a 5 megapixels front camera. It features dual 4G VoLTE, WiFI, Bluetooth and micro USB. It also packs 3000 mAh battery.

This week, Xiaomi announced several price cuts including price cut on  Mi A2Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi Y2, and Redmi 6 Pro. Xiaomi also launched new MI LED TV models and MI Soundbar in India.
