The video ringtone app Vyng comes to India

California based video ringtone application, Vyng has launched its app in India after the successful testing it in selected regions. Vyng is now available to download from Play Store.

Vyng is a video ringtone app that lets users set a video as a ringtone. The video will be played in case of an incoming call.

Users can set any video as a ringtone. They are even allowed to upload their own video to use as a video ringtone. For Indian users, it also has a browser Bollywood videos section where users and search for Bollywood videos and set it as a video ringtone. The app also allows you set a specific video for an individual.

Commenting on the launch, Paul Kats, CEO of Vyng said, “Being an Android dominated user base, India has become the largest market for us. People here love custom ringtones and caller tunes, which give us an edge to roll out our social features. We expect to continue to see more people in India discover Vyng.”

The app is already present in 174 countries including India, USA, Indonesia and more. If you are interested, you can download the app and try the video ringtone.

As per Google Play description, the app is not compatible with XIomi phones as it has some issues with MIUI and the company is working to fix those issues.
