Amazon has just launched a new Kindle Paperwhite e-reader in India. This new Kindle Paperwhite is IPX8 rated and is priced at Rs. 12999.
The new Amazon Kindle Paperwhite features same 6-inch touch screen offering 300 PPI pixel. It is 8.18mm slim and weighs 182 grams. That makes it thinnest and lightest Kindle Paperwhite yet. With IP68, you can submerge in up to two meters of fresh water for up to 60 minutes
It has 8GB of storage to hold your ebooks. The WiFi + 4G version comes with 32GB of storage.
It comes with a new home experience that makes it easier to find your next read based on your history. You can personalize your reading including font, boldness level, and orientation settings. It has an adjustable light that lets you read indoors and outdoors without changing brightness settings manually.
Amazon claims that the new Amazon Kindle Paperwhite offers up to six weeks of battery life if you use it for half an hour of reading per day with wireless off and the light setting at 13.
