GoPro Announces HERO7 Action Cameras

Today, GoPro announced GoPro HERO 7 with three models Black, Silver, and White. These are not just different in color but different in features. HERO7 Black is the most advanced action camera ever created and it can record videos as stable as you get only by using a gimbal.

HERO 7 Black has a 12 megapixels sensor and can record up to UHD 4K video at 60 fps. Its sophisticated HyperSmooth digital image stabilization that offers gimbal-like stabilization. It can feel your movements and compensate the camera shake accordingly. The cam can record 2.7K videos at 120 fps and Full HD 1080p at an even higher 240 fps for super-slow-motion playback. The maximum bitrate at 4K is 78 Mb/s. It can also record stereo and raw audio. It also supports an external microphone via an optional adapter for cleaner audio.

The HERO 7 Silver records 4K video at 30 fps and maximum 4K bitrate is 30 Mb/s. It has standard image stabilization. HERO 7 White can shoot only up to 1080p60 video with standard stabilization. Both Silver and White have 10 megapixels sensor and have 2X slo-mo” instead of the Black’s 8X slo-mo. Silver has WDR instead of HDR and GPS inside.

All three cameras are waterproof down to 33 feet. All three models have a 2″ touchscreen with an intelligent feature called Touch Zoom . You also have Voice Control option that allows you talk to the camera with commands.

HERO 7 Black comes with live streaming option. It also features Protune, which lets you access and manually adjust various professional settings including white balance and ISO.
