Garmin India has announced the launch of fēnix 5X Plus smartwatch in India. This is a GPS Multisport watch offering lots of interesting features. This is the reason it costs Rs. 79,990. It is available from different online and offline stores across the country.

Garmin fēnix 5X Plus is a rugged watch that can be used in any kind of weather conditions. It weighs 96 grams and features 10ATM water rating. The watch is made of premium materials and is fitted with scratch-resistant sapphire lens. It comes in a distinct design as a PVD coated stainless-steel bezel with a silicone watch band.

It has 1.2-inch display offering 240 x 240 pixels resolution. This Garmin Chroma Display with LED backlighting offering excellent readability in all conditions.

It has built-in navigation sensors including three-axis compass, gyroscope and barometric altimeter along with multisatellite (GPS, GLONASS and Galileo) network capability. So, it can track location even in challenging environments.

It can track the heart rate 24/7 using its Wrist-Based Heart Rate feature. It also has wrist-based Pulse Ox sensor to track blood oxygen saturation awareness at higher altitudes. Other notable features include smart notifications, automatic upload to Garmin Connect, personalization through free watch faces and apps from Connect IQ. You can store up to 500 songs in the watch and enjoy music without the phone. You can download playlists from select music streaming services like iHeartRadio, Deezer or directly transfer from a computer and use a pair of Bluetooth headphones to listen to music while on the move.

This smartwatch can offer up to 18 days of battery life in smartwatch mode, 20 hours in GPS mode and 11 hours in GPS and Music mode. The UltraTrac power saving mode can extend the battery life up to 64 hours.
