Apple introduces a cheaper iPhone called ‘iPhone XR’

The new iPhone XR looks similar from the front but it has single camera setup on the back. It comes in beautiful color options including white, blue, coral, black, yellow, and red. The body is made out of 7000 series aerospace grade aluminum and durable glass back. It is also IP 67 rated for dust and water reistance.

As leaked, this phone uses LCD display that Apple calls it most advanced LCD display ever in a smartphone. It is called Liquid Retina. So, the phone features 6.1-inch Liquid Retina display with 1792 x 828 pixels resolution.

It lacks home button and uses haptic touch instead of supporting 3D Touch. It features Face Unlock that is same what Apple included in XS and XS Max. So, it is faster and secure.

It also packs A12 Bionic for offering best performance and real-time machine learning. It comes in three storage options: 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB

It features 12 megapixels wide angle camera with f/1.8 aperture, OIS and improved True Tone flash. It has same TrueDepth camera on the front to offer the same experience you get in iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.iPhone XR Camera

 

It also comes with dual SIM capabilities similar to iPhone XS. The battery life of Apple’s new iPhone XR is an hour and half more than iPhone 8 Plus.

It starts at $749. Pre-order starts at October 19 and sale begins October 26.
