Samsung just announced Galaxy Watch at its New York event along with Galaxy Note9 and Galaxy Home.

It comes in 46mm and 42mm versions with 1.3-inch and 1.2-inch (360×360 pixels) Circular Super AMOLED Always On Display. Display on both versions have latest Corning Gorilla Glass DX+ protection. Watches also feature rotating bezel.

These watches will also be available in optional LTE variants along with regular 3G variant.. It packs 1.15GHz Dual-Core Exynos 9110 processor. It packs 768MB RAM but the LTE variant packs 1.5GB RAM along with 4GB internal storage.

These watches run Tizen- Based Wearable Platform 4.0. It is compatible with Android 5.0 or later and iPhone 5 and above, iOS 9.0 or above

Build quality is excellent as it has 5ATM + IP68 ratings for water resistance. It is also certified for military-level durability. It comes with NFC and Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) support for mobile payments using Samsung pay.

It features new stress management tracker that can detect when you are on high levels of stress to offer breathing exercises for helping you. It has now advanced sleep tracker to monitor all levels of sleep.

The watch has added 21 new indoor exercises and can now track total 39 workouts. It offers intuitive calorie tracking and personalized alerts.

It features Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Heart Rate, Ambient Light and Barometer sensors.

The 46mm model packs 472mAh battery with battery life of 80+ hours on typical usage and up to 168 hours on low usage. The 42mm model packs 270mAh battery with 45+ hours on typical usage and up to 120 hours on low usage. It also features wireless charging.

Samsung Galaxy watch will be available in the United States on August 24. The 46 mm version costs $349.99 and 329.99 for 42mm version.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch LTE version will be available later in 2018 and pricing will be announced at the time of availability.
