Samsung has announced its new tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab S4. It features a 10.5-inch (2560×1600 pixel) WQXGA 16:10 aspect ratio Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.

It packs Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and will be available in 64GB and 256GB internal storage options. Internal storage is also expandable up to 400 GB.

The tablet features 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and 5 megapixels front camera.

It also comes with enhanced S Pen. The new S pen lets you take notes on the fly through the Screen-Off Memo feature. It can also be used to navigate, translate and organize notes through Samsung Notes, and even send personalized texts through Samsung Live Message.

It has quad-stereo speakers tuned by AKG by HARMAN. The company has removed fingerprint sensor, so there is no home button as well. Now it has Iris scanner.

Samsung has also brought Samsung DeX to the tablet for the first time. So, you can have a desktop experience with Android interface. You can extend Samsung DeX to an external monitor with a compatible HDMI to USB-C multi-port adapter.

Connectivity feature include 4G LTE (optional), WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz) MIMO, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS, USB 3.1 Type-C and POGO pin. It packs 7,300mAh battery that promises up to 16 hours of video playback.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 costs $649.99 for 64GB variant and $74999 for 256GB WiFi variant. Pre-orders start today on Samsung.com until August 9, 2018. People who pre-order will get a free Book Cover Keyboard worth $149.99.
