Mijia, part of Xiaomi’s ecosystem, just announced a new hybrid watch “Mijia Quartz”. It comes with standard 40 mm dial and is 3.2 thin mm at its thinnest point.This hybrid watch is for those who just need some extra features but do not want to charge their watch daily.

You can connect to Android or iPhone over Bluetooth to see call notification and Reminder. It also supports intelligent functions such as automatic timing, pedometer, world time, interval reminder, call reminder and alarm clock. This data can be viewed through the APP. As the watch packs proper display, you can set those up via the smartphone companion app.

Mijia Quartz

It has stainless steel case and curved back. It has quick release interchangeable strap and comes in Black, Blue (with white dial), and Gray color options. It is also waterproof at up to 30 meters.

It uses CR2430 battery to support the low-power Bluetooth 4.0 module. The company claims to offer up to 6 months of battery life.

It costs just CNY 349 ($52). It makes it one of the most affordable hybrid smartwatches available. It will be available starting July 17 through Xiaomi Mall, Xiaomi Youpin and Tmall Xiaomi Flagship Store.
