Sony has just launched its new Sony RX100 VI compact camera in India. It is priced at Rs. 99,990 and will be available across the country soon.
This camera comes with Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T 24-200mm f/2.8 – f/4.5 lens that packs power of both 24-70mm and 70-200mm focal lengths because it features two ED (extra-low dispersion) aspherical glass elements and eight aspherical lens elements including four AA (advanced aspherical) lenses.
The lens also has built-in Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation that is equivalent to a 4.0-stop faster shutter speed to prevent camera shake or blurry images.
Sony RX100 VI packs 20.1-megapixel Exmor RS CMOS image sensor with DRAM chip. The sensor works with upgraded Bionz X image processor. It has Fast Hybrid AF system that claims to focus in just 0.03 seconds. The AF system works with built-in 315-point focal-plane phase-detection AF points.
The camera comes with a 3-inch LCD touch display that can be tilted 180-degree upward and 90-degree downward. There is also a one-push access to the electronic viewfinder having XGA OLED panel.
The camera also has 4K HDR compatibility that makes it first in the Cyber-shot range to get this. It also featured S-Log3/ S-Gamut3, 120p Full HD mode, Picture Profile, and proxy recording. It can record 4K videos. It can also record super slow motion videos at 240fps, 480fps, and 960fps.
It supports Wi-Fi and NFC both. Users can also use the Play Memories Mobile app to transfer photos to smartphone. You can also use smartphone as viewfinder and control the camera.
