Instagram introduced shoppable tags back in 2016 with limited set of partners. The feature worked well on feed and saw good response from users. Over 300 million users use Instagram Stories everyday. So, adding shopping tags directly into Stories will surely increase the brand engagement.

“In a recent survey, Instagrammers said they often watch stories to stay in the-know with brands they’re interested in, get an insider view of products they like, and find out about new products that are relevant to them,” said Instagram.
