Garmin has launched its new smartwatch Garmin vivoactive 3 Music. As the name suggests, it lets you store up to 500 songs by download offline music from selected music streaming services.
Garmin vivoactive 3 Music features a 1.2-inch (240 x 240 pixels) full-color Garmin Chroma sunlight-visible Display.
It has step counter and sleep monitoring. It can measure Calories burned, Floors climbed, Distance traveled and Intensity minutes. It also learns from your activity level and assigns a daily step goal. It also shows move bar after a period of inactivity. To reset it, you need to walk for a couple of minutes.
It has more than 15 pre-loaded GPS and indoor sports apps including Strength Training, Cardio Training, Elliptical Training, Stair Stepping, Floor Climbing, Indoor Rowing and Yoga, Cardio workouts, Strength workouts and Automatic rep counting
It has water resistant build. It weighs 39 grams and dimensions measure 43.1 x 43.1 x 13.6 mm. It includes GPS / GLONASS , Garmin Elevate wrist heart rate monitor , Barometric altimeter, Compass, Accelerometer and Thermometer sensors.
It claims battery life of up to 7 days in smartwatch mode and 5 hours in GPS mode with music. If you just use in GPS mode, battery life will be of around 13 hours.
It is priced at $299.99 and is now available in U.S.. Bands for this smartwatch are also available in different sizes for $29.99.
