Airtel has launched a Rs 449 prepaid plan for its subscribers in India which will offer 2GB  3G/4G data per day and unlimited calls over 70 days. This prepaid pack also offers unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calls with 100 local and STD free SMSes. With this plan, Airtel is giving direct competition to Reliance Jio’s prepaid recharge plan priced at Rs. 448.

For your information, the Jio is offering 2GB of high-speed 4G per day data and unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calls for a period of 84 days.

Airtel already has a prepaid recharge plan of Rs. 448 which gives benefits of 1.4GB of per day 3G/4G data for a period of 82 days. This plan also comes with unlimited calling and free SMS messages.

Airtel also introduced another Rs 149 plan which offers 1GB of 3G/4G data per day over 28 days, along with regular call and SMS benefits.

One more recent offers from Airtel is a new prepaid plan priced at Rs. 558 which offers a total of 246GB of 3G/4G data for a period of 82 days with a daily FUP limit of 3GB data. This plan also comes with unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calls and 100 free SMS messages.

Reliance Jio offers are making other retailers lower their price in order to survive in the market. Airtel is also facing increasing pressure from Jio and here is the proof.
