We already know about Airtel’s “Mera Pehla Smartphone” initiative for giving Indian consumers affordable 4G phones. Under the same initiative, Airtel has partnered with Amazon India to boost the smartphone adoption across the country. Under this partnership, consumers can get 4G phones starting at Rs. 3399 after the Airtel cashback.

Airtel will be offering a total cashback of Rs. 2600 over the period of 36 months. Customers can avail additional cashback of Rs. 600 on Airtel recharges of Rs. 169 on Amazon.in.

Customers can purchase any Amazon India exclusive 4G phone of their choice and then start using it with Airtel. For getting the cashback, customers will have to do at least Rs. 3500 worth of recharge over first 18 months to claim the first backpack of Rs. 500. Then the same Rs. 3500 worth recharge for next 18 months to avail cashback of Rs. 1500.
If customers do 24 Airtel recharges of Rs. 169 via Amazon, they will be given a cashback of Rs. 25 on each recharge. This cashback will be given to Amazon Pay balance.
The Rs. 169 plan will offer unlimited voice calls (STD + Local) and 1GB data per day for 28 days.
It is worth to note that Vodafone and Flipkart also launched a similar initiative in past. But that offer allowed customers get phones for as low as Rs. 999 after the cashback.
