Acer Unveils Nitro VG0 and RG0 Series Monitors

Acer has unveiled two new gaming monitors series at its Next@Acer event. These series are Nitro VG0 and RG0.

These new monitors come with IPC Panel and AMD Radeon FreeSync. These even offer fast response time of up to 1ms Visual Response Boost (VRB) for smooth gameplay. Acer claims that VRB decreases blur in fast moving images.

The IPS Panel used in the monitors provides accurate views even at wide angles of up to 178 degrees horizontally and vertically. Monitors can also be. Tilted from –5 to 20 degrees in VG0 and –5 to 15 degrees in RG0 series.

Panels are integrated with 6-axis colour adjustment that lets gamers fine-tune colour, hue and saturation to suit the game play.

The Nitro VG0 series come in 27, 23.8 and 21.5 inch panels with 4K UHD, WQHD or Full HD resolution options.

The Acer Nitro RG0 series offer ultra-thin monitors with sleep 27-inch thin profile. You get 27 and 23.8-inch models. It offers 1920×1080@75Hz and aims at 1080p Full HD gaming and multimedia experience.

These monitors also have two 2W stereo speakers.

Acer has also integrated Acer Game Mode into monitors that has eight pre-set display modes optimised for different kind of needs.

It is worth to note that both models have also won 2018 Red Dot Design Awards. Acer just unveiled the series but didn’t confirm the pricing and availability details.
