Panasonic today launched its latest budget phone Panasonic P101 in Indian market. The phone is priced at Rs. 6999.

Panasonic P101 comes with 5.45-inch HD+ display with 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by 1.25 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB RAM.

The phone has 16GB internal storage with option to expand storage up to 128GB. It also runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. It has 8 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and 5 megapixels front camera with LED lash.

Connectivity features of the phone include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It packs 2500 mAh battery.

Dimensions of the phone measure 148.8x72x9.1mm and it weighs 145g. It comes in Black color option.

It will be available from offline retailer Sangeetha Mobiles. The phone will also comes with offers for Idea customers. They will get 60GB data and cashback of Rs. 2000.

At this price, the phone will compete with Redmi 5A and Infocus Vision 3. Infocus Vision 3 comes with dual camera and nice battery backup. I don’t see any reason to recommend Panasonic P101. You can read Infocus Vision 3 Review to know why the phone is better.
