Huawei has officially unveiled a mid-range smartphone Huawei Y9 (2018) in Thailand. This phone comes with two dual camera setups and 18:9 display.
Huawei Y9 2018 features a 5.93-inch display with FHD+ resolution (2160 x 1080 pixels) and 18:9 aspect ratio. It runs on Android Oreo with EMUI 8.0 out of the box. It has octa-core Kirin 659 processor, 3GB RAM, and 32GB expandable storage.
The phone has dual-camera setup (13MP+2MP) at the rear panel and dual camera setup (16MP+2MP) at the front. This is the same used in Huawei mate 10 Lite.
It also has fingerprint sensor located on the rear panel. The phone packs 4000 mAh battery. It comes in Black, blue, gold color options. The phone weighs 179 grams and is 7.9 mm thick.
For now, we have no information about availability in other countries but we should expect.
Most of the Huawei phones now come with dual camera setup at both side. Recently it launched Honor 9 Lite in India that became the cheapest phone with 4 Cameras. Huawei is also working on a phone Huawei P20 Pro with triple camera. This phone is expected to be official on March 27.
