Facebook Messenger Lite for Android has finally receive the video calling feature. If you are using the Lite version of messenger, you can update your app to see the video calling option.

Video calling has become a popular feature on different messaging plaforms. Facebook confirmed that people made 17 billion video calls in 2017 which was twice as many video calls as compared to 2016. This is the reason Facebook decided to roll out the feature to Messenger Lite.

People also prefer to make video calls during different occasions. So it was much requested by people around the globe.

Facebook Messenger Lite is the light version of the app, you now have a new feature to use. The Lite app offers core messaging features including photos, links, video and audio calls to people. The app is of 10 MB in size and targets people with low-end phone. The app was initially launched back in October 2016.

The update is now rolling out to Lite users and will be available to all in coming days.
