Sony just announced a new smartphone Sony Xperia XA2, the success of Xperia XA at CES 2018. There is no word on pricing yet and it will be available starting from February 2018.

Sony Xperia XA2 comes with 5.5-inch Full HD display with Image Enhance Technology. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass protection to avoid scratches. It is powered by a 2.2 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 630 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 508 GPU.

The phone has 3GB RAM and 32 GB storage. It is also expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. Xperia XA2 comes with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

Sony Xperia XA2 features a 23 megapixels rear camera with 1/2.3″ Exmor RS sensor, Hybrid Auto-Focus, and 84° wide-angle f/2.0 lens. It also has 8 megapixels front camera with 120° super wide-angle f/2.4 lens and 1/4″ Exmor R sensor.

The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C. It has a Fingerprint sensor located on the rear panel.

The phone packs a 3300 mAh battery with support to Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and Qnovo Adaptive Charging.
