Paytm Mall has announced an exciting offer to attract smartphone buyers. Now it will offer ‘Mobile Protection Plan’ to smartphone buyers. This plan will safeguard devices against accidental damages, liquid damage, and theft for one year.

The service will cost just 5% of the phone’s price. The company has covered most of the popular smartphone brands including Apple, Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, Moto, and others.

To avail this benefit, you only need to call a toll free number. Your device will be picked from your residence or you can directly go to the nearest repair store. In case your device is beyond repair, you will be reimbursed for what the device is currently worth.

Recently, several smartphone brands have started offering similar kinds of protection plans to cover accidental damage. Samsung, OnePlus and few others offer this for Rs. 999. You can also purchase mobile insurance from few notable mobile insurance services including OnSite, Syska, and AppsDaily.

Having a good damage protection plan gives a peace-of-mind. If you have a premium flagship phone, this is important because screen replacement or liquid damage costs too much and it can be up to 80% of the device’s price. Spending small amount at the time of purchase is a smart move.
