Samsung has launched its latest 8-inch tablet Galaxy Tab A 2017 in the Indian market. It comes in two colors- Gold and Black and will be available for Rs. 17990 starting October 10. It will be available from all online and offline retail stores across the country.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2017 comes with 8-inch 480 nit bright display. It comes with Android Nougat out of the box. It also has Samsung’s flagship feature Bixby Home and enables consumers to find whatever they want with swipe. This personal digital assistant learns from you to offer you a better experience and predicts what you might be looking for.
It packs 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 308 GPU. It also has 2 GB RAM and 16GBof storage with an option to expand the storage up to 256 GB.
It has 8 megapixels autofocus rear camera with LED flash and f/1.9 aperture. It also has 5 megapixels front-facing camera. It supports 4G LTE with voice calling. Other connectivity features of the phone are WiFi a/b/g/n (2.4 + 5 GHz) HT40, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS + GLONASS / Beidou. It has 5000 mAh battery.
The dimensions of the phone measure 212.1 x 124.1 x 8.9mm and weight is 364grams. It has smooth edges and metal back.
There is also a Book Cover for the tablet but it will be available separately for Rs. 2499. Samsung is also offering one-time screen replacement at Rs. 990 within 1 year from the date of purchase.
