Moto X4 (XT1789) to come with Snapdragon 660, reveals Geekbench

Motorola was expected to announced Moto X4 at July 25th event, but the company only announced Moto Z2 Force. Now the Moto X4 (XT1789) appeared on Geekbench confirming the chipset.

The phone was listed with model number XT1789. While there was no mention of Moto X4, but previous reports claimed that XT1789 is actually Moto X4. So, we believe that the listing was for Moto X4 (XT1789) It packs octa-core Snapdragon 660 clocked at 2.21GHz.

The listing also reveals that the phone will come with Android 7.1.1 and 3GB RAM.

The interesting thing is that the same Moto phone appeared on GFXBench in past confirming eight ARM CPU cores clocked at 2.2GHz and an Adreno 508 GPU. While the Soc was not confirmed, it was assumed to be Snapdragon 630.

GFXBench also confirmed 3GB RAM, 16GB storage, 12-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, HDR, face detection, and 4K video recording, 16 megapixels front camera, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

Moto X4 is expected to come with 5.5-inch Full HD display with 3D glass. It is also expected to offer 3800 mAh battery. Few reports claim the dual camera setup with 12MP+5MP resolution.
