BSNL has rolled out another plan to compete with Reliance Jio. Its new Chaukka-444 plan gives users 4GB of data per day for 90 days. This is a special promotional offer only for prepaid users. This is the highest data offering by any telecom operator in the country.

Here, it is worth to note that it offers 3G data only and you are getting 1 GB 3G data for less than a rupee.

“Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced ‘BSNL Chaukka-444’”, a new STV (special tariff voucher), for truly unlimited data for 90 days as a special promotional offer under prepaid mobile services,” the company said in a statement.

This new data offer will follow the existing data offer ‘Triple ACE’ that offers 3GB data per day for just Es. 333.

Jio has already rolled out 20 percent more 4G data offer to those who are using Lyf-branded smartphones. Jio is still ruling and its data tariffs remain the cheapest in the country.

Other rivals including Idea, Vodafone and Airtel have reduced their plans to compete with Jio but they are still struggling.

What do you think about BSNL’s new offer? Are you interesting in paying for 3G data when you have a cheaper option for 4G data? Share your views in comments.
