Motorola announces budget phones Moto C and Moto C Plus

After several leaks, finally, Moto C and Moto C Plus smartphones have been officially announced These are budget phones targeting entry-level smartphone segment. Both phones will go on sale in coming weeks in parts of Asia, Europe, and Latin America.

Moto C comes with 5-inch FWVGA (854×480) touchscreen. Moto C comes with1.1 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor with 1 GB RAM. It will have 8GB and 16GB internal storage.

The phone also features 5 megapixels rear camera with 1.4-micron pixels, 74-degree field of view, fixed focus, a LED flash, and 720p video recording support. At the front, it has 2 megapixels camera with a 63-degree field of view, fixed focus, and a LED flash.

It is packed with 2350 mAh battery. It comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. There will be both 4G and 3G variants of this phone.

The phone comes in Metallic Cherry, Pearl White, Fine Gold, and Starry Black color options. The dimensions of the phone measure 145.5 x 73.6 x 9 mm and weighs 154g.

If I talk about the plus model. it seems to come with same form factor but with powerful inner. Moto C Plus has a 5-inch 720p display and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. It has MediaTek MT6737 processor with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. A 2GB RAM model will also be available.

It has 8 megapixels rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12-micron pixels, autofocus, a 71-degree field of view, and a LED flash. It also has 2 megapixels front camera. The phone has 4000 mAh battery that should offer 30 hours of usage on a single full charge.

Moto C is priced at €89 unlocked and SIM-free for 3G model. If you purchase the 4G model, it will cost you €99. The 1GB RAM model of Moto C Plus starts at €119, but the company didn’t confirm the price of 2GB RAM model.

Search for the Motorola smartphone under Rs. 12000.

The Moto C Plus measures 144 x 72.3 x 10 mm and weighs 162g. If you compare this with Moto C, both have almost similar dimensions but Moto C Plus has the larger battery to increase its weight and thickness.

The recent leaks also confirm that Motorola is planning to launch several smartphones this year. Moto C and Moto C Plus are the lowest models in terms of hardware specifications.
