On March 31, Reliance Jio announced “JIO SUMMER SURPRISE” offer. Under this offer, it offered users 3 months complimentary services in addition to the benefits of their purchased plan.
This offer surprised most of the Jio customers and encouraged them to subscribe for Prime membership. But, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has advised Jio to withdraw the benefits of JIO SUMMER SURPRISE.
Jio has also accepted the decision and confirmed that it will be withdrawing the 3 months complimentary benefits of Jio Summer Surprise over the next few days.
Here, it is worth to note that people who already subscribed for “Jio Summer Surprise” will still get this. But no new customer will be eligible to get this offer anymore.
“However, all customers who have subscribed to JIO SUMMER SURPRISE offer prior to its discontinuation will remain eligible for the offer,” Jio Noted.
On March 31, Reliance Jio extended the deadline to subscribe for Prime Membership til April 15, 2017 and also announced Summer Surprise offer. Under The Summer Surprise offer, Jio was giving three months of free complimentary services.
