After taking back Summer Surprise, Reliance Jio announced Dhan Dhana Dhan offer to give users free data benefit for less cost. To take on this, Airtel has also announced its new plan to take on Dhan Dhana Dhan offer.

While there is no official announcement regarding this plan, Sanjay Bafna tweeted about these plans. Bafna is a well-known telecom reporter on Telecomtalk. Most of his previous leaks were legit.

Airtel to offer 70GB 4G data

Airtel’s new plan will offer 1GB 4G data per day along with unlimited calls for 70 days. This is for prepaid users and will cost only Rs. 399. The Unlimited calls will include both local and STD. Bafna also claims that Airtel has also planned a plan with 2GB 4G data per data.

The plan with 2GB data per day will cost Rs. 345 and will be valid for 28 days. There is also a cheaper plan for Rs. 244 offering 1GB data a day for 70 days but the unlimited calling is limited to Airtel customers.

Few users can also see these new offers in myAirtel app under the Best offers for you’ section.

A tariff war has begun between Reliance Jio and Airtel since Jio officially came in Indian telecom market in September last year. After the entry of Jio, other telecom operators were forced to reduce the prices of mobile data.

Meanwhile, Jio has complained against companies including Airtel that are offering customized retention offers to subscribers who are willing to port out of their network. This is the violation of MNP Guidelines.

It will be interesting to see the future of telecom sector. Indian customers should thank Reliance for making data rates cheaper in the country. Even if you are not using Jio, your existing operators are now offering much cheaper data.
