Samsung has done proper homework before launching the payment service in India. Samsung Pay supports Axis bank, HDFC bank, ICICI bank, SBI Cards and Standard Chartered Bank. Not just banks, it also supports payment through Paytm wallet.

If you own a supported Samsung smartphone, you need to visit the Samsung website and register as Early Access Program. Once you are invited, download the Samsung Pay app and register with your email address, set a PIN and add fingerprint.

Now the Government of India has started focusing on digital payments. So, Samsung’s entry in digital payment segment is a smart move. As of now, only a few devices support the Samsung Pay. But Samsung will try to make it available on more devices if possible.

Samsung sold more than 2.5 million Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, S7, S7 Edge and Galaxy Note 5. All these smartphones support Pay in India. So, Samsung has the possibility to get early users for Samsung Pay.
