Ideal cellular has announced a plan for prepaid consumers to retain its customers and counter the Reliance Jio. Now the company is offering 500 MB of Internet data per day with free unlimited calls to users for just Rs. 348.

So, users are getting 14GB of data and unlimited calls for just Rs. 348. It appears to be a good plan for existing Idea customers.

The only catch in the offer is that it is available to only selected users with low average data consumption. The company wants to encourage them to consume more data.

The plan is also not available to all and you will have to check if you are eligible by using My Idea app. The app is available for both Android and iOS.

If you do not want to use the app, you can call to customer care.

Airtel and Vodafone have also come with similar offers but they are offering 1GB data per day. Idea is offering just 500 MB and this is also only for selected customers.
