BSNL has also jumped into the tariff war to compete with Reliance Jio. Now the company has confirmed a new tariff plan for Rs. 339. In this plan, it is offering 2GB of 3G data per day and unlimited calling within its network.

This offer is limited to 90 days and aims to retain its existing customers who can switch to Reliance Jio.

“The benefits customer will get under the Combo STV (special tariff voucher) of Rs 339 are unlimited calls in BSNL network and unlimited data with fair use policy of 2 GB per day with the validity of 28 days,” BSNL said in a statement.

Under the new scheme, BSNL customers will also get 25 minutes of free call to other network everyday and they will be charged 25 paisa for a minute.

Reliance Jio is offering 1GB of 4G data and unlimited calling to all network for free till March 31. After that, the customer can go with Jio Prime membership and then pay Rs. 303 per month to get 1GB data per day and unlimited calling.

While BSNL is offering 3GB data, but 2GB per day is still the best in industry. If BSNL is working fine in an area, 2GB data can be a best deal.
