Samsung has finally launched its next generation smartwatches Samsung Gear S3 Classic and Gear S3 Frontier in India. These were officially introduced at IFA 2016 back in September last year. Both of these watches will be available from January 18. Samsung has priced these watches at Rs. 28500.
The Gear S3 Frontier has the rugged design with MIL-STD-810G rating, but the Classic variant has refined look.
These watches have 1.3-inch Circular Super AMOLED Always On display. The display also has Corning Gorilla Glass SR+ protection. The bezel of the display rotates and allows you to navigate to different screens without touching the display.
Both models got 1GHz Dual-Core processor, 768MB RAM and 4GB internal memory. These watches run on Tizen based wearable platform 2.3.2 and are compatible with Android & iOS both. The companion app is available on respective platforms.
These watches come with NFC, built-in speaker for listing to music, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity. This Gear S3 frontier model also includes LTE connectivity. With IP68 Certification, these watches are Dust and Water Resistant.

Both watches are identical in design but have different weight. The classic model weighs at 57 grams while Frontier model weighs at 62 grams.
These watches have 380 mAh battery that claims to offer up to 4 days of battery life. These watches also support wireless charging.
