Reliance Jio officially extends free Data, Voice, Video and Jio apps till March 31 2017

Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani has officially announced a “happy new year” offer for all existing or new Jio customers. Now the Reliance is offering “Happy New Year” offer for new users who will be signing up from December 4, 2016. These users will be able to enjoy free Data, Voice, Video and the full access of Jio applications and content till March 31st, 2016.

All existing Jio customers who are enjoying Jio ‘Welcome offer’ till December 31st, 2016 will also be migrated to Jio Happy New Year offer from 1st January.

The only change in the Happy New offer will be the data cap. After 1st January data will be capped at 1GB per day and then speed will be reduced to 128 kbps. The company reduced the data capping because only 20% of Jio users use over 1 GB of data per day.

Now there are 52 million Reliance Jio customers and the company growing faster than any other company in the world. It added around 50 million customers in 83 days.

The company has already started delivering the Jio SIMs at home. In this, the SIMs have been activated in 5 minutes through eKYC.
