Meizu has announced its first fitness band called ‘Meizu Band’ along with M5 Note in China. This fitness band is priced at 229 yuan and comes in black color.

Meizu Band comes with OLED display that blends in the band well. It can track fitness data such as distance, number of steps, calories burnt, sleep and heart rate. The heart rate sensor on the back for 24-hour heart rate tracking.

It has TPU band with stainless steel buckle. It also features Silent vibrating alarm. It also shows notifications for incoming calls and texts. It can also be used to locate a lost phone if it is connected to the phone.

To make is suitable for daily usage, it has IP67 ratings for dust and water resistance.

This fitness band is compatible with both Android and iOS. One can pair the band with the phone over Bluetooth LE using an app.

The company claims that the battery of band lasts up to 15 days of the battery (without heart rate tracking) and 7 days (with heart rate tracking). This is not as good as we saw in Mi Band 2.
