The Finland firm HMD Global has already confirmed to announce its first Nokia branded smartphones in February 2017 during Mobile World Congress. The company has already ordered supply chain for developing its smartphones.

Nokia has reportedly planned at least 4 phones for 2017. This number can grow but we have information for only 4 phones for now. These phones will have different display sizes ranging from 5.0-5.7-inch at WQHD or Full HD resolutions. HMD global has already talked to LG, Century Technology (CTC) and Innolux for the supply of display panels.

The first Nokia branded phone could be Nokia D1C. It will also be available in two variants with different display size and RAM information. The higher priced variant will cost $200 and will offer 5.5-inch 1080p and 3GB RAM. The cheaper variant will come with 2GB RAM and 5-inch 720p display for $150.

This phone is expected to come with Snapdragon 430 processor and Android 7.0 Nougat. The larger variant will have 16 MP rear camera while the smaller variant will have 13 MP rear camera.

Most of us are excited to see the comeback of Nokia. The rumoured specifications are good and the leaked designs are also attractive.
