Airtel has finally launched unlimited voice calling packs to compete with Reliance Jio. The company has announced two new bundled unlimited voice calling packs for prepaid users. These packs are priced at Rs. 145 and Rs. 345.

These two packs come with free calling and other data benefits. The pricing is only for the Deli circle. For other cities, this price may vary.

In the pack of Rs. 345, Customers will get unlimited voice calling on local and STD, 1GB of 4GB data. Customers with the basic mobile phone (other than 4G phone) will also get 50MB of data.

In the pack of Rs. 145 Airtel prepaid pack, unlimited voice calls across the country to Airtel network, 300 MP 4G data on 4G-ready smartphones and 50MB of data for basic mobile phones.

This is a bold move for Airtel for which voice calling accounts for 70 percent of its revenue. But the company has to take this kind of step to counter the Reliance Jio that added over 50 million subscribers in less than 3 months.
