Have you ever been in a situation when you need to use the toilet but you are unable to locate nearest clean toilet? Google is said to launch a new search tool ‘Toilet Locator’ in collaboration with Ministry of Urban Development India.

According to the report, Google will start a pilot testing in NCR starting this week. It will be integrated as a search tool and will show results in Google Maps. It will be very similar to ATM Locator launched yesterday in India.

This feature is being piloted under Cleanliness Fortnight campaign by Government of India. The process of listing all the available toilets in the NCR region was almost done. So, Google will soon start showing it in NCR regions.

People can either search on Maps or search on Google and will show them the similar results. Google will use your location to show the result. So, you will have to turn on GPS on your phone to use this.

Best thing is that Toilet Locator tool will also offer an option to provide feedback. So, people will be able to rate the cleanliness of the toilet and leave the review.

We have no exact confirmed date for the launch of this tool, but we can expect to see this in Google search by the end of this week.
