A video clip demonstrating this display was posted on Youku. This video demonstration was showing MIUI 8 running on the display. The user operating this display didn’t demonstrate the bend in multiple directions, but it does seem to be bent on the person’s hand.

Xiaomi has not confirmed anything about the bendable display. If this news turns out to be true, Xiaomi will join the race alongside the likes of Samsung and LG which are also working on bendable phones.

Even if Xiaomi is known for making quality but affordable products, the company is trying hard to be in top gadget company. Mi Note 2 will be announced soon and this phone is expected to put Xiaomi alongside Samsung and other premium smartphone companies.
